GLP Food Score (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a small informational tool. We are not an advertising company and we do not sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is used.
Search queries. When you search for a food, the query is sent to our API to return results. We do not permanently store individual search queries tied to your identity.
Reviews you submit. If you choose to leave a food review, we store the review text, star rating, medication type, and display name you provide. Reviews are public and appear on food pages.
Session hash for duplicate prevention. When a review is submitted, we generate a one-way hash from your IP address and browser fingerprint solely to prevent duplicate submissions. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you and is not shared with any third party.
Analytics. We use basic analytics (page views, referrers) to understand how the site is used and improve it. This may use cookies — see the section below. We do not use behavioral ad tracking.
We may use cookies or local storage for:
You can decline cookies via the banner on your first visit. Declining analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use any feature of the site.
Submitted reviews are stored indefinitely as they constitute the public content of the site. If you would like a review removed, contact us at the email below and we will delete it within 7 business days.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. Because we do not operate user accounts, the only personal data we may hold is a submitted review. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@glpfoodscore.com.
We may update this policy occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version.
